A first-person zombie shooter running on a 3D engine we wrote ourselves. Ten maps, from a fog-drowned cemetery to the city rooftops; thirty missions, with a boss waiting at the end of every map; eleven weapons to upgrade — and a flashlight you'll learn to love. For adults only.

Ten maps. One very long night.

Every map has its own weather, its own light and its own way of getting under your skin. Three missions each, and the third one always ends with a boss.

Container yard
Stacks of shipping containers under a cold moon, blue-grey haze and sodium lamps.

Suburb
A dead-end street at sunset: six houses, a crashed bus and a petrol station full of barrels.

Cemetery
The thickest fog in town — and the dead climb out of the ground between the graves.

Subway
Almost no light, flickering tubes, red emergency lamps. Down here, the flashlight is the game.

Hospital
A ring of corridors under sickly green light, with locked rooms you'll wish you hadn't opened.

Mall
A huge atrium under bluish moonlight, every shop lit by its own neon sign.

Forest camp
A storm, rain and lightning; the campfire in the clearing is the only warm light.

Industrial plant
Orange fog, drifting embers and furnaces that spit fire. The place itself is a weapon.

Sewers
The densest fog of all, green and nearly black. Things drop out of the walls.

Rooftops
The finale: rooftops linked by walkways, red beacons and a helicopter searchlight sweeping the night.

Early access: 1B Zombie Hunter 0.4.1 is still being tuned, and some missions are tough. The game contains intense violence and gore and is for adults only (rated 17+/18+, depending on the country) — none of it is shown on this page.

Getting out alive is only the beginning. 90 stars across the campaign are waiting for the ones who play it clean.

Our own engine, built from scratch

No off-the-shelf game engine and no bought assets: every model, texture and sound is generated by our own code, so the whole game fits in about 9 MB.

A boss for every map
Six bosses — the Butcher, the Broodmother, the Lasher, the Warden, the Siren and the Furnace — plus 13 kinds of zombie and 13 monsters.
When the campaign is over
Survival on every map, a Daily Mission that's the same for everyone that day, and the classic arcade mode.
Upgrades and perks
Four upgrade paths with three levels for each weapon, grenades, and five perks to shape how you play.
Easy, Normal or Hard
Pick your challenge. Fail a mission and the game offers you a retry on Easy.
Controls your way
Touch with aim assist and auto-fire, gyroscope aiming, gamepad, keyboard and mouse, left-handed mode and a layout editor.
Easier to follow
Subtitles and colour-blind markers.
