1B FoldPuzzle game for Android

New · 1.1Two new mechanics

Fold the paper. Make it one.

Nothing slides and nothing falls: you fold. Drag an edge of the sheet over the rest, and every tile on the flap lands on its mirror square — equal numbers merge, 2 and 2 make 4, 4 and 4 make 8 — until a single tile is left. An original puzzle that's easy to pick up and wonderfully hard to put down.

New · 1.1Two new mechanics

The big 1.1 update

Two new kinds of paper to outwit, a calmer way to play and a sheet anyone can fold. Folds land exactly where you aim, animations run smoother on foldables, and you can share your Daily Fold result and back up your progress to a file.

  • Tissue paper that tears

Lift tissue paper in a fold with no tile left on it and it tears for good, leaving a hole in the sheet. Choose carefully which squares you empty.

  • Face-down seals

Nothing can merge onto a face-down seal. Fold it over and it lands face up, ready to merge again.

  • Zen mode

Journey and Daily Fold with no fold limit — the counter shows ∞. Stars still reward finishing in few folds.

  • A friendlier Endless

Three free undos in every run, and the next tile is shown before it appears, so you can keep space for it.

  • Fold with TalkBack, taps or keys

TalkBack reads the sheet row by row and offers every legal fold as an action. With Tap to fold, tap an edge and pick a width. Or use a keyboard.

  • A dark sheet, automatically

The dark paper is now included and follows your phone's dark mode, and every tile has stronger contrast.

One fold, explained

The whole game fits in a strip of four squares. Here's a real level, solved in two folds.

  1. 1

    Fold one column

Fold the left edge over: the 2 lands on the other 2, and they merge into a 4.

  2. 2

    Fold two columns

Now fold twice as wide: the 4 lands on its mirror square, right on top of the other 4.

  3. 3

    Make it one

A single 8 is left. Two folds, the best possible — three stars.

  • Empty square? It moves

A tile that lands on an empty square simply stays there when the paper opens.

  • Same number? They merge

    Equal tiles join into one with double the value: 2 + 2 = 4, 8 + 8 = 16.

  • Different number? It goes back

A tile that lands on a different number returns with the flap, as if nothing happened.

A fold that changes nothing bounces back and doesn't count — so every fold you make matters.

  • 40handcrafted levels — then new ones, generated without end
  • 3ways to play: Journey, Endless and Daily Fold
  • 12origami figures to collect
  • 6papers to fold, from washi to newspaper

How to play

Three ideas, and a lifetime of clever folds.

  1. Drag an edge

Pull any edge of the sheet over the rest — one column or row, or up to half the sheet.

  2. Watch them land

Every tile on the flap lands on its mirror square at the same time, and the sheet opens again.

  3. Make it one

Merge until a single tile is left. Match the solver's best number of folds for three stars.

New twists as you go

Just when you think you've got it, the paper changes the rules — one new idea at a time, each with its own little tutorial.

  • Holes in the sheet, pins that hold the paper to the table and taped tiles that never leave their square
  • Fresh ink that prints a copy, diagonal corner folds, wild seals that merge with any number, and stones that block their square
  • Tools for the tough ones — Hint, Undo, Scissors, Iron and +3 folds — paid with coins you earn by playing
  • New papers and tile styles to unlock with those coins: never with real money

Small sheet. Lots to fold.

  • Every level can be solved

Each level is checked by a solver, which also sets its par: the fewest folds that win it.

  • Endless

After every fold, new tiles appear where the flap was, on 4×4, 4×6 or 6×6 sheets. Merge several at once for a combo bonus.

  • Daily Fold

One new puzzle every day, a calendar and a streak — a little tougher as the weekend gets closer.

  • An origami for every world

Finish a world and the winning sheet folds itself into a crane, a fox, a swan… 12 to collect.

  • Fold your phone, fold the paper

On a foldable, half-close your phone and the sheet folds down the middle. A little secret for curious hands.

  • Coins you earn, never buy

Tools, papers and tile styles are paid for with coins you win by playing. No shop with real money.

  • Made for everyone

Colour-blind patterns, stronger contrast, a dark sheet and a reduce-motion option. TalkBack, Tap to fold and keyboard play too.

  • Achievements and chests

Achievements, star chests, a daily reward and your own statistics.
