1Byte Systems is an independent software studio. We design, build and maintain our own products — fast, focused, beautiful and respectful of the people who use them — for Android today and, soon, for Linux and Windows too, and we develop custom software for businesses.

Why we exist
Too many apps today are built around ads and tracking, with the actual tool buried underneath. We think software should do its job and get out of the way.
So every 1B product follows the same rules: no ads, no analytics, no accounts, and as little network access as the job allows. Your files, documents, keys and saved games live on your device, not on our servers — we don't even have servers for them.
We also care about the details: smooth animations, layouts that adapt to tablets and foldables, light and dark themes, and every app carefully translated into 21 languages. Some of our work is unusual, too — 1B Zombie Hunter runs on a 3D engine we wrote ourselves.

What we stand for
No ads, ever
No banners, no interstitials, no “watch a video to continue”. Our games have no in-app purchases either.
No tracking
No analytics, no tracking SDKs, no accounts. What you do in our apps is none of our business.
Offline-first
Your files, documents and progress stay on your device. Most of our apps don't even request Internet access.
